At a recent Local Committee, a sum of £6,000 was granted to be used to develop a Trim Trail in the Park. The monies, from Public Realm funds, will be added to the £10,000 already granted for this project and now that someone has worked out what it will really cost, it will be used to purchase and install appropriate all-weather equipment within Cheam Recreation ground “to provide play facilities for older children and teenagers”.
The next step in the process is for the Council to work out a plan, decide what equipment can be utilised and from where it will be sourced.
The image to the left is for representation purposes only and does not suggest that this is what will be installed. The type of equipment wanted and the materials they are made from has yet to be confirmed.
We will keep you updated on progress!
